CHAMPIONSHIPS
& COMPETITION

THE COMPETITION

Veodrive will develop through competition.
Veodrive’s goal is to organize and promote championships in a maximum number of countries.

TEAM SPORT

In each national championship, around 15 cities take part in match plays.
These inter-city championships are similar to those of popular sports such as football, rugby or other team sports.
Racing is an individual sport, VEODRIVE will be a team sport.

ORGANIZATION

The organization in charge of regulating this sport is the International Video Driving Federation (FIVP).
This Federation’s missions will be to :

+ Draw up technical and competition regulations.
+ Designate national Federations.
+ Promote international competitions.
+ Approve competitions schedules.
+ Grant licenses.

THE FRANCHISES

Veodrive for each city.
Each franchise brings together a team of drivers that are to represent their city in the championship.

THE TEAMS

A captain is in charge of selecting and training his drivers.
In addition, a team of mechanics is in charge of maintenance for the vehicles.
16 drivers split into 4 categories constitute each team:

+ 4 senior drivers, (age 20 to 40)
+ 4 junior drivers, (under 20)
+ 4 legends, (over 40)
+ 4 women drivers

THE MATCHES

Matches opposing 2 teams (2 cities) break down into 16 races (4 for each driver).
In order to guarantee good entertainment, the races are relatively short with many starts.

AN AFFORDABLE SPORT

Veodrive has an other major asset: each team can easily finance itself.
Unlike auto-racing, the numbers are reasonable.
About 8 to 10 000 € per driver to take part in 24 races.
